Same Day Crown With CEREC

CEREC or Cerec (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or CEramic REConstruction is a method of CAD/CAM dentistry developed by W. Mörmann and M. Brandestini at the University of Zurich in 1980 for creating dental restorations.The CEREC Method

‍After the consultation, a camera captures the area to be treated.

The dental prosthesis is then created as a 3D model on the computer.

The restoration created on the computer is subsequently milled from a ceramic block.

The finished ceramic restoration is inserted just a little while later.
